Your standards for a man must be so terrifically high, that they should scare you for once.

The quality of the man you will get will depend upon the self-image you carry. You as a woman hold terrifically high value. The entire society values you. Hinduism worships you and calls you Mother Goddess.

With a blink of an eye, you can get most men. The men you think you can't get are either playing hard-to-get or you don't think of yourself as much.

Your standards for a man must be so terrifically high that it should scare you at once. Just with the thought of the standards you have set for yourself, you must think that such man can not exist. Or will be very difficult to find. The latter could be truer than the former. It would seem difficult to find such a man if your standards are sufficient enough. If you think such man could be found, you need to rethink the standards you have set for your match. They are not high enough.

In a world where every man wants to be with as many women he can possibly be with, you could just be a number in his body count he aspires to have, or another story he would tell his friends, or another stimulus to keep himself occupied to not make the effort to be conscious of himself.

So what are the standards you must set for the ideal man for yourself? Well, that is a very good question to have. Your standards will arise from the set of ethics you govern your life with. Here are some questions you ask yourself before you begin to look for a man for yourself:

Are you looking to pair-bond with man because:

  1. You don't want to be lonely

  2. You want to someone to talk to

  3. You don't want to be the only one without a boyfriend in your peer group

Here is another set of questions that will help you get a man who aligns with your energy:

  1. Are you aware of who you are?

  2. Do you know why you'd like to have a mate for yourself?

  3. What will you do once you get a mate?

  4. Do you know how high your self-image is?

  5. Do you know where your self-respect needs to be?

Lalleshwari (or colloquially called Laldeh) is a good model for you to follow. Here she is, the great Lalleshwari:
