Balance is the only point of life. Learning how to balance is the primary thing to strive for in life. Balance brings peace. Peace brings relaxation.
Relaxation is your default state. You just may not remember it because of the impressions of your surroundings.
One of the most important realizations you will have on the path towards attainment of the balance is learning to move on.
If you use Yoga practice to gain balance in life, derive as much benefit you can out of the practice. But as soon as you begin to see your life getting back to balance, move on to something else.
Some people are not comfortable with the idea of leaving something that helped them attain some balance. It could be journalizing, Yoga practice, Chanting, Breath-watching even drugs, anything. People think that if they stop doing it, they won't be in balance anymore.
Give that practice up when you see yourself balanced. Doing that activity served the purpose of getting you in balance. Now that it has served its purpose, its time to move on.
