Meditation Will Make Your Life Beautiful

There is no right or wrong way of doing meditation. But there is a way which is the most efficient, the easiest and the most practical. This is my method of meditation. I will call it the overthinker's meditation or the Ordinary Meditation.


I think overthinkers have the potential to be great meditators. It is because they are already used to using their minds a lot, which is good. Using the mind is a good start. But the key is using the mind in the right way. You could learn to use the mind the right way with some training in philosophy and practice.


The right way of using the mind is to use it only when you need it. It's like Sunshine. You don't need it for 24 hours. You need about 12 hours of darkness as well. This means you should be able to have the control to make your mind relax and not work as much. Meditation helps you do that. It helps you gain control over the working of your mind.


Meditation is introspection. With introspection, you get a greater understanding of who you are as a person. You understand deeper the impact of your existence, the result of your actions, the direction your life is taking and it is going to take. Once you begin to observe how your actions impact the quality of your life, you become more watchful of the actions. Being watchful of your actions make you more responsible. A more responsible human being is an asset to the Earth and to the entire human race.


In the upcoming posts, we will be talking about meditation in detail, but here is the takeaway. You could pick up any style of meditation and begin from there. Soon you will find yourself moving towards the Ordinary Meditation which is the most effortless way of meditation.


Once you begin to introspect and meditate over your thoughts, anyone and behaviour; you begin to see the impact of your thoughts, actions and behaviours on your life. You become more watchful of your thoughts, actions, behaviours and feelings. That watchfulness makes you more diligent and aware. That awareness makes you seek better. Better thoughts, better behaviour, better actions. Once you start seeing, you begin to find ways to have better thoughts, which in turn initiates better feelings and battery actions. Those better actions begin to shape your life in a better way. Your quality of life increases. Your life becomes more beautiful.
