There are two kinds of people in this world.

  1. Those who want to look good to others

  2. Those who want to be comfortable

Those who want to look good to others...

These people would go any extent to look good to others. They will have the haircut of their favorite movie star. They want to look like the famous models. They would like to follow the trend, be it whatever. You will see people like these following trends, no matter how the trend makes them feel.

There are people injecting fluids in their butts, lips, cheeks, and eyebrows. There are people getting silicon inserted under the mammary glands. There are people getting fat sucked from their thighs and waist to be injected in their buttocks.

People would wear suits in hot scorching summer of India because it is an attire their office dictates them to wear. These are the people who follow fashion headlessly, or are bound by their peer group.

All of these people are going against the nature. All of them are going against the natural grain of their bodies. All these people are morphing their bodies to look a certain way so that they look appealing and different to other people.

Doing such hideous things cause irreversible damage to such unconscious folks. Going against the nature and morphing their bodies make them suffer in life. This suffering is mostly silent.

But in this article, we are going to talk about the unintelligent footwear choice arising out of unconsciousness and how people suffer because of this. We will also talk about what you can do to reduce your suffering and align yourself to the nature.

The bad choice for footwear

You must have seen people, both men and women, wearing pointed shoes or sandals. Something like this:

Morphed big toe bone causes foot pain, back ache and even headaches

Wearing pointed footwear does irreversible damage to your body.

Pointed shoes are in fashion. People like to wear them because it makes them look more sleek, slim, and sharp. But wearing pointed shoes does irreversible damage to the body. Here is how:

Human feet are not supposed to be shaped like this

It has been observed that those who wear pointed shoes for prolonged periods of time cause their foot to be shaped the same way. Here is what the foot of someone who wears pointed shoes looks like:

Side effects of wearing pointed shoes:

Pointed toe shoes cause all kinds of problems for people, like corns, bunions, and permanent deformities such as hammer and claw toes, overlapping toes, ingrown nails which may require surgery for correction. More severe problems can be back pain, hip pain. Spiritual problems could be not able feel centered.

Here is how your feet are supposed to be like:

Toes were designed to grip the Earth and make you stable while walking upright. A structure is more stable when the base is wide. That is why your toes can widen up. Take a look at the toes of tribals who have no shoes. Here is how your feet must look like organically:

Your big toe must go out as it is intended to be. You must not wear restrictive shoes to bring it in.

Here is how your feet must feel and be inside shoes.

Name of the game: Wide Toebox Shoes

Toe box is the compartment of the shoe that houses your toes. Choose the shoe with the broadest toe box. This will be the most comfortable for your feet and your body's long term health and well-being. Here are different kinds of shoes you can buy for various purposes:

Formal shoes:

If you have a job that demands you to wear black shoes, I'd want you to sit and rethink your life choices. But if you are in the process of rethinking but still have to go to your occupation wearing black formal shoes, here is the right kind. Instead of oxford style pointed shoes, buy boat style formal shoes like this:

Casual shoes: Sneakers

While being casual, prefer sneakers over anything else. Sneaker with a flat sole is great. The flat sole helps you maintain your center in a much better way than those with a bit of heel pump.

Fancy shoes: Boat style, or Loafers

For any occasion, you could just wear your casual shoes like me. Let yourself be a role model for others. But if the occasion demands you to look a bit fancy, always choose boat style or loafers. Loafers have no heel pump so you can find your center against gravity very easily.

Sports shoes: Wide toebox

Most sports shoes are very conducive to the shape of the foot. But still look for the ones with a wide toe box. Look at this one...

Open toe sandals

They are the best. Open-toe sandals keep your foot in place helping you take a confident stride, or even help you run. Even better if they are made of environmentally-friendly material such as hemp, faux leather etc.

Slippers

Please take care that the slippers you choose have a foot cover over them. You should not have to hold the slipper between your big toe and second toe while walking as that would be very taxing for your foot.

The best shoe samples I'd buy for myself:

Barefoot shoes:

Hemp shoes

The aim to have with a good footwear is to protect the foot from the external environment, give comfort to the foot, and grip the foot for a confident stride.

There is more organic way to look appealing and different to people. And it is called wide toe box shoes.
